Packaging line for packing cabinet furniture parts

Purpose

KDT packaging line is designed for automatic packaging of finished products in cardboard boxes in serial and individual production. By automating 80% of packaging operations, this line allows using a minimum number of workers and improves the quality of product packaging.

Distinctive features

Technological process of operation of a section of the packaging line:

1. Section for assembling parts for packaging.
2. Scanning area and formation of the optimal box size.
3. Production of the corresponding box on a cardboard cutting machine.
4. Lining the box for the formed parts.
5. Complete with box fittings and auxiliary protective layer.
6. Closing and gluing the box.
7. Output of packaged products.

Design advantages

Table for assembling parts. The operator places the product according to the stacking scheme directly on the table, aligns it with the stop side ruler, presses the start button, after which the transverse belt conveyors lift the finished package and send it to the roller conveyor. The modules are connected to each other and in case of simultaneous sending of packages to the line, the last package does not move, letting the previous package with parts pass ahead. This line has 2 table for assembling parts.

 

Used to measure the size of parts during packaging. The first mechanism measures the length, the second – the width and height. Based on the data received, the box making machine automatically selects the box model for production.

The machine produces a cardboard box in accordance with a given program. The machine is equipped with an automatic cardboard loading system and an industrial computer. Working in automatic mode and being built into the automatic packaging line, the machine receives data from the measuring station. In accordance with the received information about the width, length and height of the future box, the machine selects the required cardboard width and starts the box production process. The machine is installed with its output table in close proximity to the conveyor for lining the box.

Driven roller conveyer is used for subsequent transfer of the product to the next section.

The conveyor is designed to lay parts on cardboard. The package, moving along the conveyor, stops, and the operator puts the cardboard unfolding of the box under it and presses the start button. The package continues to move and "runs into" the cardboard unfolding and moves on without stopping.

The conveyor serves to lift the upper part of the box and assemble the lower part of the box with a staple or glue. The lifting part, in addition to moving up/down, also moves transversely depending on the width of the box, allowing operators to facilitate and speed up the process of assembling the box. This module receives data on the width of the box from the measuring station. The box stops here until the operator presses the start button to continue the movement.

It performs the function of supporting the upper part of the box during the assembly of the end parts of the box and the placement of products and fittings in the box. The lifting part, in addition to moving up/down, also moves in the transverse direction depending on the width of the box, allowing operators to facilitate and speed up the process of assembling the box. This module receives data on the width of the box from the measuring station. The box stops here until the operator presses the start button to continue moving.

The three-side box closing machine seals the box automatically. As the box moves inside the machine, the nozzles spray glue onto the long end of the box along the movement and rollers press and seal it. The other sides of the box are processed in the same way.

Used for manual handling of finished boxes with packed parts. This line includes 2 non-driven roller conveyors.
